Homework Folder

Every night kids should be bringing home a purple homework folder.  Please ask for the folder.  Check to see if there are important papers for you to sign and return to school.  Remind your child to place the folder in their bookbag.  When they arrive at school in the morning they need to put the folder in our folder holder.  This is important so that we can communicate each day.   Presently the homework folder will have many forms and letters for parents to read, sign, and return.  The yellow emergency card is of the utmost importance.

Pleae take the time to make a quiet comfortable place in your home for your child to do homework. It should be away from the TV and other distractions.  There should be a table or desk with school supplies available.  At the beginning of the year you may want to sit with  your child to boost their confidence.  However, later in the year you should allow them to do homework independently, but checking over it with them when they are through.
